Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is a national movement that raises awareness about hunger and advocates for the support of agencies that seek to eliminate hunger in our local and global communities.  For more information about the project, please visit www.emptybowls.net

The Center for Service & Civic Engagement holds this event every October to raise awareness and support for the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia.  Each event has a CanSculpture Contest and student painted bowls for sell.
