Ireland House
Ireland House, the first building in the Quad opened in October 2006. The Ireland House houses 204 residents in suite-style accommodations in a Coed building. Ireland House is closed during breaks and holidays. Residents are required to vacate with the exception of fall break.
Compared to our other residence halls, the Ireland House is unique because each suite contains a common living room, one bathroom per 2 students and a predominance of single rooms. Each suite contains either 4 single bedrooms or 2 double bedrooms, with no more than 4 residents per suite. While the first floors vary by building, all the upper floors have a laundry room, study lounge, a TV lounge and kitchen. There are also vending machines in the second and third floor laundry room.
Residents living in the Ireland House are required to be on a meal plan. Please visit the Card Center's website for an explanation of all meal plans.

Agreement Period
The Ireland House 2009-2010 Housing and Dining Agreement is from August 28, 2009 through May 8, 2010.The Ireland House is not open during break periods (Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring) so residents must make alternate arrangements if housing is needed during those periods.

Front Desk Hours
The Ireland House students will receive their front desk services from the Virginia House Front Desk. The Virginia House Front Desk is open from 10:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight) Monday through Friday and from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight) on Saturday and Sunday.
